You and your eye doctor share the same goal in the treatment of glaucoma: to preserve as much of your vision as possible, even if the disease progresses over time.

Glaucoma can make eyes highly sensitive to light and glare, with some glaucoma medications exacerbating the problem even further.
Eye injury does not have to lead to traumatic glaucoma if the patient has regular eye examinations with an eye doctor who knows what to look for.
