Tracy M. Valorie, BS, MBA

Ms. Tracy Valorie is a strategic business consultant and the owner of TMV Associates LLC. Since July 2019 she has been a strategic advisor to Atia Vision and Myra Vision, and has provided consulting services several other start-up companies. Ms. Valorie has 30 years of experience in the pharmaceutical and biotech industry. Ms. Valorie served as the senior vice president, general manager of the U.S. pharmaceutical and surgical businesses at Bausch + Lomb from July 2012 to May 2019. Prior to joining B+L in 2012, Ms. Valorie served as commercial lead of ophthalmology at Pfizer Inc. (NYSE: PFE) where she had global responsibility for the ophthalmology brands as well as responsibility for commercial development of the mid-stage portfolio and long-range strategic planning. Ms. Valorie currently sits on the boards of PolyActiva Pty Ltd. since September 2020, Layer Bio Inc. since November 2020, Samsara Vision since January 2021, and Visus Therapeutics since August 2021. From the Fall of 2014 to Fall of 2018 Ms. Valorie served as a member of the board of Ophthalmic World Leaders (OWL) from October 2014 to November 2018. In addition, Ms. Valorie has previously held board membership seats at The Glaucoma Foundation from November 2009 to September 2011 and the ARVO Foundation for Eye Research over the same time period. Ms. Valorie holds a Masters in Business Administration from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and a Bachelor of Science in Molecular Biology from the University of Connecticut at Storrs, CT.

Ms. Valorie has served on Glaucoma Research Foundation’s Education and Communications Committee since 2022 and joined the Glaucoma 360 Steering Committee in 2023. She has been a member of the Glaucoma 360 Advisory Board since 2014. She was elected to the Glaucoma Research Foundation Board of Directors in April 2024.
