Glaucoma Patient Summit

Amanda Eddy (glaucoma patient): The Glaucoma Patient Summit is a must-attend event because you’re getting cutting edge new information about technologies, new medication, new tonometers to check your pressure at home, all of these really cool things that you might not have known about just going to your regular check-ups. This is what’s new, what’s upcoming, tips on healthy living with glaucoma, research and what’s coming next. And then just the ability to be around other glaucoma patients, share your stories, ask questions, and “oh you had that surgery, I did too, here’s how it came out, oh you use that drop, I did too, I don’t like that drop,” you know just things like that. It’s a really nice community of people and going to the Summit year after year you can really make friends and then see them again, so it’s definitely a must-attend event.
