2025 GRF Annual Dinner Keynote: Jeffrey L. Goldberg, MD, PhD

“The Future is Now: Neuroprotection & Vision Restoration for Glaucoma.” Jeffrey L. Goldberg, MD, PhD, Professor and Chair at Byers Eye Institute at Stanford, delivered the Keynote Lecture, at Glaucoma Research Foundation’s Annual Dinner at The Olympic Club in San Francisco, CA, on April 25, 2025. Dr. Goldberg is a GRF Advisory Board member for the Catalyst for a Cure Vision Restoration Initiative. He is introduced by GRF President and CEO, Thomas M. Brunner, who also presents the President’s Award to David Chute, for David’s outstanding contributions as a dedicated donor and patient advocate. David’s latest endeavor, the Treatment Accelerator Initiative, has a goal of driving progress in glaucoma drug development by reducing the time and cost required for FDA approval of new neuroprotective treatments.
