The 2024 virtual Weston Lecture is introduced by Andrew Iwach, MD, Jane Weston, MD, and Thomas Brunner, and was presented by Glaucoma Research Foundation on October 29, 2024. Dr. David Friedman is world renown for his contributions to the study of the mechanisms, epidemiology and prevention of angle-closure glaucoma. He is Co-Director of the Glaucoma Center of Excellence at Harvard Medical School, and Director of the Glaucoma Service and the Albert and Diane Kaneb Chair in Ophthalmology at Massachusetts Eye and Ear.
