Website offers free e-newsletter and information on glaucoma research and treatments.

GlaucomaPatients.org
Patient education website from the World Glaucoma Association, an independent global organization based in Amsterdam that promotes glaucoma science and care.

International Glaucoma Association
Registered charity based in London. Offers patient education information, news about glaucoma and patient studies, and information on patient forums conducted by the IGA.

The Glaucoma Community
The Glaucoma Community (website and mobile app) is a free online community that empowers people living with glaucoma through knowledge, support, and shared experiences.

World Glaucoma Patient Association
Home of the World Glaucoma Patient Committee, helping to better the lives of glaucoma patients by encouraging cooperation among glaucoma patient organizations worldwide.

Online source of unbiased information on eye health and vision correction written by a team of expert eye doctors and medical journalists and reviewed by an editorial advisory board.

American Academy Of Ophthalmology (AAO)
Offers information for the general public and for ophthalmologists. Provides a searchable database of member ophthalmologists practicing in the US and abroad. You can search for ophthalmologists by specialty and region.

American Optometric Association
Offers vision healthcare tips, activities for teachers and kids as well as information for those interested in pursuing a career in optometry. Represents more than 32,000 doctors of optometry, optometry students and paraoptometric assistants and technicians across the country.

American Academy Of Optometry
Offers sections on services and meetings, as well as news and announcements.

ClinicalTrials.gov
Consumer-friendly database developed by the National Library of Medicine and provided by the National Institutes of Health. Provides patients and members of the public easy access to information about the location of clinical trials, their design and purpose, criteria for participation, and additional disease and treatment information.

EyeHelp.co.uk
UK-based informational website focused on eye problems and eye care.

Foundation Fighting Blindness
National organization dedicated to finding causes, treatments, and cures for retinal degenerative diseases such as retinitis pigmentosa, macular degeneration, and Usher syndrome. Offers information on their current research, education, and public awareness programs.

Medscape
Searchable commercial collection of full-text articles from sources such as the National Institutes of Health and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

National Eye Institute
A division of the National Institutes of Health. Provides information on national clinical trials sponsored by the NEI as well as general public information on eye health.

National Library Of Medicine
Reference site that provides free access to the MEDLINE database.

Prevent Blindness
Offers information on a variety of eye and blindness issues.
